Moving to Mac

This blog will document my experiences of moving from Windows to a Mac. I do IT/computers/consulting for a living, have 20+ years in the business, and am simply no longer willing to be a "test pilot" for software such as Microsoft Vista. I just need it to work. How to force background maintenance tasks

See this Apple article on how to force background maintenance tasks.

  1. sudo sh /etc/daily
  2. sudo sh /etc/weekly
  3. sudo sh /etc/monthly
